Planet Nation is an LBQ community and lifestyle website with everything from event listings to LBQ books, theatre, music, festivals, travel and general articles. We also profile key LBQ women and LBQ businesses in our community.

Membership gives you access to private content from writers, LBQ personalities, additional content and filtered events feeds as well as contributing to a community YOU would love to be a part of.

We build our lifestyle, events, and business offerings around the need to connect and bring together the LBQ community in the UK.

Our core values by which we observe the event and festival reviews are

  • Community
  • Authenticity
  • Love
  • Connection

Planet Nation launched in 2016 following 5 successful years of running Planet London. As well as an events calendar to promote the events taking place in the community, there is also a variety of articles on various subjects including books, theatre, music, travel, festivals and general lifestyle and opinion articles.

Planet Nation works hard to give visibility and a platform to those in our community keeping it going, and often overlooked. It is proud to collaborate and contribute on a regular basis and is open to new suggestions of ways to further value and contribution to the members and readers who form our community.

Planet Nation is run by Naomi Bennett and a team of Planeteers (LBQ volunteers). In addition to the website, she works hard to support LBQ women through marketing and design support, sponsorship, training and more. She also is the founder of LesFlicks a platform to build a diverse community of LBQ fans and content creators from around the world. She is always happy to talk to women about potential collaborations and ideas and is committed to improving the community and encouraging women to be their best.
