DJ: 2 Traxx
International Dj 2 Traxx has been working her magic on the decks for 7 years. Starting off as a house and garage on Radio stations such as Pure Love, Pure Music 247 and Freek FM before heading to the clubs.
In the clubs 2 Traxx made a big impact with her multi genre sets, keeping the crowds hyped all night.
Traxx has played at some great venues such as Club Industry, Union, London Opium, Circa, Libertine (alongside the Artful Dodger), Scala and Ministry of Sound to name a few. In the summer you can find her playing at various festivals. She’s also played in Malaga, Ibiza, Turkey and Mexico.

1. What was your first DJ event?
My first booked gig was at a friends 30th.
My first club event was at Lush in club union Vauxhall
2. How long have you been a DJ?
I’ve been doing for 7 years now
3. How would you describe your DJ style?
Interesting and energetic I guess.
4. What nights do you currently DJ at?
I’m a resident Dj at Urban world which is held at Scala also have residency at Lez events.
I also play at Mint and Urban Slag.
5. What genres of music do you play?
House, UK Garage, Afro beats, R’n’B, Grime, Trap, Bashment, Soca, Rare Grooves and a little bit of Drum and Bass.
6. What is your all-time favourite track?
Hahaha that’s an unanswerable (is that a word?) question. All depends on my mood. One day it might be Guns and Roses get in the ring. The next it might be Donaeo – African Warrior. But at the moment I’m stuck on Fisher – I’m losing it
7. What is your guilty pleasure?
hmmmm that’s hard. I don’t see i have one. I’m gonna go with cigarettes (boring i know)
8. How and why did you become a DJ?
I was working in a 116 bed hostel for young people and they won some funding to set up a project to teach the young people to dj, MC and make beats. I put myself forward to run the project and got the position.
I planned (In my head) I would learn with the young people. However the dj classes got quite busy so I found myself having to watch during the classes and practise during my lunch breaks as I didn’t have the equipment to practise at home.
7 years later here i am.
9. What has been your best DJ gig so far?
Such a hard question. Ok it would have to be when Urban World went to Brighton Pride. We had the tent packed out from start to finish. The crowd was so hyped I dropped house every weekend. The crowd went wild. It was amazing they were amazing.
10. When you’re not a DJ what events do you like to go to?
Believe it or not I like a quiet life so normally go out for dinner with family and friends. Cinema with the Mrs.
11. What is the best thing about being part of the LBQ community?
Being able to go somewhere that’s safe for people of the community to express themselves. Its almost like a little family maybe less of the little.
