MINT@ Foundation

These popular events have taken place in members clubs and lively venues such as Soho House, Studio 88, Century Club, Jewel, Mayfair Exchange, Opal, Jack Solomons Club and London’s buzzing Foundation Bar.

They are always packed with between 400 to 600 gorgeous women of various ages, with one thing in common – they all love to party!

Boy buddies are welcome with you.

The Review

MINT @ Foundation; Sunday 30 August; Tickets – £15

You know it’s going to be a great party when queueing makes you want to stare. In all directions at once.

Inside, you couldn’t help but exclaim: “This is such a great party! I can’t decide where I want to be.”

Yes, indeed.

It never ceases to amaze me how a gathering of women intent on having fun feels. There is beauty everywhere. There is gentleness and shyness and delicate attempts to open up and connect.

We like each other so much it is paltable, thick in the air.

We are respectful to each other in dance and conversation.

Safe.

Foundation is a fantastic venue, perfectly tuned lighting, great mojitos (7£), amazing DJs and plenty of discreet places to get to know each other better. You could meet people from all over the world. Iran, Mexico, Colombia, Jamaica, South Africa, Moldova, Russia, France, Canada, Greece, Italy, Germany, China, various parts of Britain.

What is your name? Where are you from? What truly moves you? Let’s dance.

The corridor, leading to the bathrooms (gender neutral, so you never had to wait long, yay) had chairs to lounge, chat or rest. A constant stream of women walking in and out, fixing their makeup. Getting phone numbers. Happy, excited.

It catered to all tastes in music and aesthetics. Two rooms, one with RnB beats to get down and sexy and the other with the most happening house Djs. Friends and acquaintances, dancing in a circle. Checking each other out.

I had a chat with DJ Michelle Manetti, who plays deep house. She really drew the crowd in. Everyone mingling, mixing, making out.

There was so much hotness at that party, the rain was a blessing.

I’m glad I went. Sorry if you missed it. Definitely go to the next one.

It really is a great party.
