Award-winning musical comedy performer Hannah Brackenbury returns to The Warren with a brand new show for Brighton Fringe 2019, celebrating 10 years of life and laughter in her adopted city.
‘All Things Brighton Beautiful’ is a hilarious and heartfelt tribute to Brighton as the 2018 Fringe award-winner reflects on her first decade as a proud Brightonian. The 50-minute show features original comedy songs, poems and parodies on a variety of quirky Brighton themes including misunderstood seagulls, lesbian love triangles, beach barbecues and of course that ‘Big Grey Pole’ – aka the i360!
Last year’s Fringe saw Hannah crowned ‘Victorious’ with her joyful and poignant tribute to the late, great Victoria Wood picking up the Broadway Baby Bobby Award for Best of the Festival 2018.
“This comedian is a class act… when you have talent like this there’s no need for glitzy adornments” (Broadway Baby)
“This Brightonian songstress has been described as Victoria Wood and Tim Minchin’s lesbian love child… and her songs are both bloody funny and beautifully touching” (Latest 7 Magazine)
You can catch Hannah’s new show at The Warren on 6-7, 22, 31 May and 1-2 June. Tickets are £10.
