Women’s Swimming with NorthernWave Swimming Club

Want to meet some friendly sociable LGBT folk and get a bit of exercise? Come along to Northern Wave Swimming Club’s women’s session! It doesn’t matter if you’re a head-up leisurely breastroker or enjoy swimming lots of lengths, we cater for all. Our well established women’s session takes place every Wednesday evening at 8-9pm. We meet from 7.45pm by the tables at the left of the front desk. We have coaching lanes for a range of abilities, and at least one social lane for those who fancy a gentle swim and a chat. Sessions cost £4.50, or £2.50 for those earning less than the living wage. We always go to the Nip and Tipple pub afterwards for a well-earned drink! We’re more than just a swimming group; we have regular social events ranging from walks in the countryside to film nights to trips on the East Lancs railway.
